This is where the player's proficiency in something increases more when the player actually does it, such as running increasing stamina. The gameplay in 7 Days to Die does lend itself very well to the action perk style of levelling up, though. This is a great system, especially when used in conjunction with the randomly generated worlds, as you can build each character specifically for the world around them. These are things like Lock Picking and Animal Tracking. Once you get far enough in your perk tree, you can start to unlock specific upgrades. These can be used to improve one of the five main attributes. Level-by-doing action perksħ Days to Die has a great perk system, that awards you one perk point every time you level up. It would be great to see some more unique places, especially in the different biomes that are just begging to be explored. This is especially important when you consider that these points of interest are usually where people build their bases in the game! Whether it’s on the third floor of a hotel, or in the basement of a church, each of the potential bases could come with unique perks and drawbacks. There are so many more things that could be added to the world for you to explore, though. These can be stores, campsites, army bases, or even traders that you can interact with. There are a number of biomes that have unique loot in them, as well as points of interest. This is due to the fact that each map is randomly generated, meaning that each run of the game will be completely different. One of the aspects that people love to praise 7 Days to Die for is how interesting the world is.
